South Korea Phone: 02-592-9252 와카 Waka is the Korean branch of the popular Japanese restaurant that specializes in Chanko Nabe -- known as the diet Japanese Sumo wrestlers get their 'physique.'
Don't let that scare you, though. You'd have to eat a lot of this Nabe to become like a Sumo wrestler. Actually, Chanko Nabe is a very healthy food. Waka provides it in three variations Shio (salt), Miso (Japanese bean paste) and Kimchi (spicy!).
It also features many other Japanese fusion dishes. The restaurant is always pretty quite, so you can have a nice conversation with your companion. See more photos |

I've been to Waka many times and everytime I go there, I get exactly what I expect.
A good Japanese style meal that's not just sushi and sashimi. The course menu is a bit expensive but really fills you up. The Nabe at the end is always satisfying. Selecting the rating below will make the Submit and Write Review buttons appear.
