A few weekends ago, we traveled to the Seoul Aerospace and Defense Trade Show to look at all the cool airplanes that I haven’t been able to hang around since my college days. I think it is a bi-annual event, so the next one will be in 2013. The exhibit was on a ROK airbase which is connected  to a US airbase, so we got free travel and entry. Can’t beat that.

One of the main reasons I wanted to go to the bakery fair was to do the latte art experience. It taught me a good lesson — check the event schedule before you go! Going to whatever random COEX convention is in town has become a go to activity for me. Usually free or fairly cheap, you can see some really neat things, get a few free prizes, and talk to some fun people. And as the weather turns colder, I’ll be looking for more fun trade shows. But the Baking Exhibition would have been a visit regardless, I mean they advertised it as tasting bakery treats ...
