Now Playing with English Sub. -- Gosa, the 2nd story

You know we're at the height of Korean summer when you see a flurry of scary movies coming to the theater.  This summer, you don't have to watch the 'I know what you did last summer' over and over again to enjoy the summer like Koreans.  A brand spanking Korean horror movie will be playing with English subtitles for your pleasure.

The movie, Gosa the 2nd story, is a sequel to a somewhat successful school horror movie from 2 years ago.  The synopsis, apparently, hasn't changed from the first movie.  (yeah, why change a good thing, right?)  Thirty of the top students (ten more than the last movie) from a high school are assembled to further their chance of getting into top universities by studying together.  But instead, the studying sessions turn into a blood shed (how's that for a movie cliche?) when in-discriminant killings take place with impossible quizzes are given for survival.

Well, don't let me ruin a perfectly obvious horror movie.  For those of you who've never watched Korean horror films, this may be a great chance to take notes and compare the fine art of horror film making Korean style to that of the Western world.

The movie is set, for now, to run from 7/29 to 8/3 at CGV Guro and Yongsan.  Make sure to check for the schedule.
