So, you have a Facebook account and want to use it to get into HiExpat.com?

Great idea.

By using your Facebook ID, you can:

   1. Use your Facebook profile picture as your avatar for HiExpat

   2. Use your Facebook profile so you don’t have to enter any information

   3. Keep your profile up-to-date and in sync with Facebook

   4. Update your user status on Facebook

Well for me personally, just not having to remember another set of username and password is worth it.

Now, you can begin by clicking on the Facebook Connect button.

 Then you'll see this pop up.

Well this seems pretty simple.

You just type in the email and password you use over at Facebook.

Then it gets a bit tricky …

Okay, two columns and what are they saying?

Existing Site Member and New Member?

Well this got me confused when I did this the first time, so, let me explain this.

Existing Site Member section is for you if you have existing HiExpat.com username/password.

By putting the information, you can update your existing profile on HiExpat.com with your Facebook profile.

All you have to do is to put in your HiExpat.com Username and Password.

Then left column section is for you if you are registering with Hiexpat.com for the first time. You are basically letting us know the desired name, username and your email so that we can  identify you in the site.

The rest is as easy as clicking on Login or Create button depending on which section you filled out.

Then voila!

You are done.

Then next time you come to our site, just come to this page and click on facebook connect button to login without entering in your username or password.
