Get Ready for 15 more IMAX theaters in Korea

With the smashing success of the movie Avatar, it seems that the Korean multiplex company, CGV is expanding its IMAX screens. According to a new press release by IMAX (the company that makes ... um ... IMAX) tells a plan for 15-screen large expansion by the Korean company after having earned $6.5 mil + with Avatar.

3D TVs are upon us

Have you seen that movie Avatar? Beside the I-seen-that-story-twelve-times-in-what-was-the-title-of-that-last-movie story line, the graphics and the 3D effects really knocked my socks off.   I have worked on 3D projection technology commercialization before, so I am not entirely unfamiliar with the technology and have seen a few demos in the past. But boy, times really have moved along.
